Create a classroom library that is both organized and student-friendly with these A–Z Animal Leveled Library Book Basket Labels!
This set includes labels for guided reading levels A through Z, with each letter paired with an animal. For example, Level A books can be stored in the Alligator basket, Level B books in the Butterfly basket, Level E books in the Elephant basket, and so on.
The animal theme gives students an extra visual cue when choosing books and returning them to the correct location, making classroom library routines easier to manage.
For even easier organization, place a small sticker with the book’s letter level at the top of each book. Students can then match that letter to the corresponding animal basket when returning books to the library.
These labels are great for:
- Classroom libraries
- Guided reading book baskets
- Leveled reading bins
- Student book return routines
- Small-group reading materials
Each label measures approximately 4 inches by 4 inches, making the labels easy to see on classroom baskets and bins.

What Teachers Are Saying
I am a big believer in not making a kid an "A" or "E" but know they need to access a reading level. I love telling them to book shop in the respective animal bin instead.
